Re: Help to choose right setup

Yes, it is correct, except supply of ignition coils. You should connect supply of coils before fuse. It should be separate wire from ignition switch.

Re: Help to choose right setup

Connection with relay directly from battery is best solution.

You need to load secu3t_m644_rev9_dwell firmware file (this firmware is loaded by default). Software for tuning is SECU-3 Manager.

will you have for sale also bip373 and stepper motor and other sensors that YOu suggest. Im from Latvia and we don't have much Russian made parts

List of parts is here http://secu-3.org/store/ All other parts you should buy yourself locally. It is not obligatory to use Russian parts, you can use any parts from any other manufacturers, e.g. GM. SECU can be tuned for different parts and sensors.

and gas_v is to switch between gas and petrol?is it necessary to have knock sensor?

GAS_V input can be used for switching between two sets of tables. It is often useful when using two fuels, e.g. petrol and LPG.
In most of cases knock control is not necessary/obligatory on regular atmospheric engines.

Re: Help to choose right setup

You should tune maps yorself or to find related specialist locally. Also, you can find and try maps from different users/engines.

Re: Help to choose right setup

Hello.
Volvos are too complicated for me,their manuals too.
That's the firing order.

You already know it and there is the right exemple for wasted spark mode.
It's esay to find the workshop manual but I'm still trying to understand how the distributor works and what the ignition curves are.
You're lucky because 30 A has got no negative control, positive only. what does it mean? It's new for me.

That's for U.S.A. only, the vacuum regulator with negative control.

Now something about timing advance.

Bye.

Re: Help to choose right setup

Hello.
A B30 engine is one B20 and half.
Now I understood the datas about the ignition distributor, is it a Bosch JFUR6?
Timing advance at the idle is 10°BTDC, max timing adance is 32°BTDC at 3300 rpm on full load.
Advance begins at 950 rpm, 20°BTDC at 1350 rpm,30°BTDC at 2800 rpm and finally 32°BTDC at 3300 rpm.
I hope not to have been wrong.
Then you must add more advance on light load according manifold vacuum.
Advance begins at 100mmHg, at 142,5mmHg it adds 5°of advance, max advance added is at 180mmHg,it adds 10°.
If you use a TPS instead of a MAP sensor you won't consider manifold vacuum.
On LPG it takes a different ignition curve but I can't add any piece of advice.
Maybe you canbe intersting in Volvo manuals.
