Re: Looking for infos
Hello.
I'd like to ask a question about dual fuel.
There are injectors for L.P.G. or C.N.G.
What is the unit for those injectors?
Is there an unit for both sorts of injectors,pretol/gas?
Thank you.
Bye.

Re: Looking for infos
Alpha/N refers to a fuel calculation algorithm, it is not sensor. But TPS is used for Alpha/N.Do you mean the so called Alpha/N referred to the TPS used as load sensor?
Please, clarify. Which unit do you mean? Do you mean driver of complete ECU?What is the unit for those injectors?
Is there an unit for both sorts of injectors,pretol/gas?

Re: Looking for infos
Hello.
Thank you.
I mean 4 channel P&H injector drive for exemple.
Sorry but I forgot what I learned the last year.
What do I need for dual fuel if it's possible to do?
Generally they use two ecus.
Maybe it takes two injector drivers or a circuit to switch?
Next time I'll ask about CKP sensor, trigger wheel, wiring harness... I'm thinking to use Magneti Marelli and Bosch parts together.
Bye.
P.S.I'm always in trouble to post using the editor but I found a solution. I must open two windows, in the first I switch to mobile style then click to write the message. In the second window that I open after the first it's already switched to mobile style automatically. I change the switch again in the second wind and then I reload the first window.
Thank you.

Re: Looking for infos
4-ch P&H injector driver from our site can only be used to drive injectos with peak-to-hold ratio = 4. So, check specification on your injectors.
Current versions of software do not support direct gas injection. I plan to implement this functionality in the future.
At the moment you can use second ECU for gas injection, like for stock cars.

Re: Looking for infos
Hello.
Thank you. We'll talk about it again in the future.
May you explain something about the ignition curves and corrections, please?
I understand the 16 ignition curves according rpm and engine loads.
That's an ignition map from a carburatored car, the ecu also drives the "cut off" and selects a particular ignition curve at the same time.
Look at the ignition curve number 9, I mean that one. The values in the idle bins of the Secu-3 table rapresent an ignition curve like that?
I saved the vacuum values for every ignition curve too.
The ignition map is for Fiat Tipo-Tempra 1.6 SOHC.
The number 9 curve is selected when a switch is grounded.
Is the same thing that we called "limit switch"? Is the "cut off" the function on Secu-3 too?
I never saw a carburator with two solenoids like on Vaz from installation exemples.
I saw reusing ignition ecu from donor cars without thinking of cut off or limit switch.
I can add the original wiring diagram too.
It's in polish but I found in english too.
I don't know if the next is better for you.
I remember when that ignition was sold for tuning.
I don't care that ignition att all. Somebody had the idea to use Secu-3 for replacement.
I found a trigger wheel from Motronic injection that maybe it's suitable.
Thank you. We'll talk about it again in the future.

Re: Looking for infos
On that schema trigger wheel is on the flywheel but there's a version with trigger wheel on the pulley.
I found the pictures of all the parts and CKP sensor specs.
What are the rules to choiche a good CKP sensor and to make a good trigger whell?
Thank you.
Bye.

Hello my friend. If you want help to tuning you ve map, you can use s3emul. Link to it on my forum signature. Discribed it on russian, but you can use google translate to understand.Zastava128

Try to delete our forum's cookies, use "Delete all board cookies" link at the bottom http://secu-3.org/forum/ucp.php?mode=delete_cookies. Maybe, but it is not clear from mentioned picture (from paper) where is idle curve among others. Anyway, for idle you can try any curve which corresponds to small load value.Look at the ignition curve number 9, I mean that one. The values in the idle bins of the Secu-3 table represent an ignition curve like that?
Yes, "limit switch" tell ECU about current engine mode (idle or working). "Limit switch" can be seen as TPS with only two positions: ON or OFF. For ignition you can use either a simple limit switch or a TPS. Moreover, it is not obligatory, you can omit using of throttle's limit switch or TPS. In this case ignition timing on idling will be determined by manifold pressure (load). Is the same thing that we called "limit switch"? Is the "cut off" the function on Secu-3 too?
Yes, SECU-3 has idle "cut off" function.
Yes, I'm too. Because it seems it is Russian "invention" . It is related to Solex carburetors.I never saw a carburetor with two solenoids like on VAZ from installation examples.
SECU-3 is able to replace all systems you have mentioned.I don't care that ignition att all. Somebody had the idea to use Secu-3 for replacement.
All VR CKP sensors work equally. For most engines, 36-1 or 60-2 is a good choice. I described which trigger wheels supported by SECU-3 here http://secu-3.org/features/What are the rules to choice a good CKP sensor and to make a good trigger wheel?

Hello.
Thank you,friends.
I deleted cockies but it doesn't anyway. It doesn't matter.
I saw your works about VE tables, congratulations! At the moment I hanven't enough skills in it.

Re: Looking for infos
Hello.
Before using internet I didn't know ignition ecus, electronic ignition,I heard about electronic injection, nothing else.
My favourite carb is the DHLA.
Then I found this site where they sold parts as,manifold, carbs, ignition ecu, camshafts, heads and so on.
That's the first exemple of injection conversion that I saw on that site.
Now I know that there is something better and programmable.
I still have a lot to learn.
What about the 2 P&H driver unit?
What sort of injectors can it drive? How many injectors?
Thank you.
